Worship: Tech Team

Connecting to Christ through technology

Worship: Tech Team

Ministry Leaders: Mike & Jenn Gallop

Our Worship: Tech Team plays a vital role in creating a seamless and immersive worship experience. Just as the worship band leads from the front, our Tech Team supports from the back, working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. From sound and lighting to visuals and live streaming, we partner with the worship band to create an atmosphere where people can connect with Jesus. Together, we are equally important, complementing and supporting each other in leading our congregation into meaningful worship.

Like Tech? So Do We!

Why the Worship: Tech Team is Vital:

1.Sound travels fast! – Did you know that sound travels at about 1,125 feet per second? The tech team helps ensure it reaches everyone in the sanctuary perfectly!

2.Lighting sets the mood! – The right lighting can change the entire atmosphere of a worship service, and our team works to create a welcoming environment with every light cue.

3.Multi-tasking pros! – Our tech team often manages sound, video, slides, and livestreams—all at the same time. They’re the unsung heroes making sure nothing skips a beat.

4.Behind the curtain magic! – While the worship band is upfront, the tech team is working hard in the back, controlling everything from song lyrics to camera angles—we love technology!

5.Cables for days! – If you lined up all the cables our tech team uses, you could probably run them around the sanctuary (or further)! They keep things organized to ensure flawless execution.

6.Biggest fans of the ‘mute’ button! – Sometimes the most important button for the tech team is the mute button—especially during mic checks or transitions.

7.Digital connection! – Whether it’s streaming the service live or displaying lyrics on the screen, the tech team helps connect people with worship both in person and online.

8.All in sync! – Together, the Worship: Tech Team and the Worship band are like clockwork. We work in sync to make sure everything is timed perfectly, from the first chord to the final blessing.

9.Eyes in the back! – While everyone’s eyes are on the stage, the tech team’s eyes are everywhere—screens, soundboards, and even social media!

10.Tech with a purpose! – It’s not just about fancy gadgets; everything we do with technology is focused on one purpose—helping people experience and engage with God in worship.
